About God's Covenant Christian Ministries (GCCM)

God's Covenant Christian Ministries (GCCM) is a dynamic church where Jesus Christ is the “True Vine,” and we, as believers, are the branches. We believe Christ was made in the image of God, and we, as believers, were made in the image of Christ. We are disciples of Christ and imitate what Christ did in His ministry while on this earth. The old spiritual man, woman, boy, or girl of the world has passed away, and we are made new spiritual creatures in Christ by receiving, believing, accepting, and confessing Christ. 2 Cor. 5:17; Rom. 10:8-10. (KJV)

We believe in equipping the saints and teaching believers who God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are. Christ equipped the saints to carry out His commission with gifts of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. Christ has commissioned those He equipped to preach good tidings to the poor, heal the brokenhearted, proclaim liberty to the captives, and open the prison to those in bondage, whether the bondage is of body, mind, or spirit. Luke 4:18. (KJV) Christ commissioned all believers to go out into the world and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost. Eph. 4:11-13; Matt. 28:19-20 (KJV). Christ wants all believers to share their testimonies with others. David states, 

"But I will continually hope and praise thee more and more. My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day, for I know not the numbers thereof. I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only. O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works. Now also when I am old and grey-headed, O God, forsake me not; until I have showed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to everyone that is to come." Ps. 71:15-18 (KJV).

When we were children, we spoke, understood, thought as children, and did childish things. As we grow older and mature, we put away childish speaking, understanding, and thinking. We may not see and understand everything now, but Jesus will give believers a clear experience when we see Him face-to-face. But by faith in the name of Jesus Christ, we believe.

 Our beliefs are based on the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ. Our mission is very simple: to lead people to honor and glorify Jesus Christ. That means we’re not about a building or some complicated religious system but about helping people from all backgrounds discover the joy that comes from knowing and serving Jesus Christ.

We invite you to come and check us out this weekend at one of our worship services. We know that worshiping with a new church can be intimidating, so we try to do things in a way where you’ll feel welcome and not like an outsider. When you worship with us, you can participate or just sit back and observe. You’ll discover a warm atmosphere, practical teaching from God's Word, and lots of friendly people pursuing God together. And with childcare and classes for all ages, your family will love it too!
