We have all heard the song, "Jesus Loves Me." We may ask to what extent does Jesus Love me? Jesus showed His love for humankind by dying on the cross for us. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8. We were not saved by grace until we accepted and Confessed Christ died that all might be saved. God's love for us is all so deep. Deeper than anything we with our human minds could ever imagine.

God's love kept me when my son died. If I did not know who Christ was, and my identity in Christ, I would have been that sinner saved by grace sinking in sorrow and pain, but God's love lifted me out of my despair. I was able to call on God in His Son Jesus' name. For me, it would have been crazy for me to ask the Lord why, since I knew what the Bible stated in Hebrews 9:27. "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." This physical body is going to waste away. We will all be judged on judgment day.

Sometimes things happen for a reason that we do not understand, but knowing Jesus, the Son of God, helps us to make it through. God sent His Son in the flesh to let us know we too can make it through, trials, tribulations, humiliations, bullying by others, the death of loved ones, persecution, depression, physical abuse, drug abuse, loneliness, and anything we may be going through. That's how much God loves us.
